Holiday gift trends 2026: what corporate buyers are ordering
Muted festive palettes, kit-style gift boxes and engraved drinkware — the year-end corporate gifting trends shaping wholesale orders this season.
Year-end gifting budgets are being spent differently this season. Across the briefs we quoted in the first half of 2026, three patterns repeat often enough to plan a catalogue around.
First, restrained festive design. Buyers still want the season signalled, but through a deep navy or forest box with a single gold foil accent rather than red-and-green print. The gift reads as premium in an office setting and photographs well for internal comms.
Second, the kit replaces the single item. A tumbler alone is a giveaway; a tumbler, a canvas tote and a printed card in a rigid box is a gift. Kits also let one program serve several recipient tiers by changing what goes inside the same outer box.
Third, durable decoration is winning over cheap colour. Laser engraving and powder-coat reveal cost a little more per unit but survive daily use, and buyers increasingly judge a gift by whether it is still on the desk in March.
For distributors, the practical takeaway is inventory-light: build two or three box formats you can re-skin per client, and keep the decoration method consistent so re-orders match.
